Vasque Breeze AT
GTX hiking boots
These are my favourite hiking boots, they are super comfortable which makes the breaking in process not too difficult or painful. They are super sturdy and have lots of padding and protection, making it perfect for rough trails or when carrying a super heavy backpack. In addition, depending on your hiking preferences Vasque offers styles with a higher boot (3 locking hooks) for more ankle protection, or a lower boot (2 locking hooks) which I think still offers great support. I used to have the lower ankle boot but decided to switch to the high ankle boot this year just so I could have a bit more ankle stability and I am very happy with my switch but I would say that both boots are amazing.
These boots also have gore-tex lining which makes them waterproof and fairly breathable.

This is one of the best sleeping bags on the market, and it is even on sale right now! Both of us actually own this sleeping bag which really goes to show how great it is. Although it is made for -9 celsius, Claudia has used it in -15 celsius which really proves how warm it really is!
